Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Overview

If you become injured or ill and are hospitalized, you can feel confident that your health insurance will pay the majority of the bill. But your insurance — as with all health plans — still requires you to pay a deductible, as well as a share of the covered costs. And you still have everyday bills to pay!

With Hospital Indemnity Insurance, you receive cash benefits to help offset the hospital bill, take care of day-to-day expenses or pay for anything you need. Benefits include:

  • Pays a $100/day benefit per hospital stay and is paid in addition to your medical insurance.
  • Pays a $100/day benefit for intensive care confinement that pays in addition to the daily hospital confinement benefit.
  • Pays a $1500/year benefit when the insured is confined to a hospital lasting a minimum of 24 continuous hours from time of admission.
  • Flexibility to use the benefit to address out-of-pocket-expenses like transportation and meals for family members, help with child care or time away from work.
  • Employee group rate: You pay $8.92/per month – for employee only coverage.
  • Eligible spouse and children can be insured, too.
  • Guaranteed acceptance with no medical exam.
